This week we are recycling an old, preferably stained or torn, t-shirt into Garage Rags.
Simply take a pair of scissors and cut the t-shirt into whatever shaped/sized pieces you want. There you have it! Your own little stack of garage rags. Throw them in your toolboxes, on your workbench, tool belt, all around your garage. They come in so handy.
My husband and I are super DIYers...and by that I mean super messy DIYers. These garage rags have saved our skin and clothes from grease, stain, paint, caulking, etc. And we are no longer looking through our towel stack deciding which towel will be sacrificed for the next car repair or home improvement project. The great thing about these little rags is that you can, without guilt, dispose of them if they get beyond messy. If not, wash and reuse them.
I challenge you! Next time you have a t-shirt that you plan on tossing, recycle it into garage rags. You will be glad you did.
