One-of-a-Kind Ink Portrait Art Print

This is a 9"x12" one-of-a-kind print of an original ink drawing. One-of-a-kind print means I use my sewing machine to individually embellish each print with free motion stitching, making it an affordable, yet unique art piece for your walls! The thread adds an aura-like pop of color against the slightly glossy print. Since prints are individually embellished, allow 3 days to complete your order, plus shipping time.

The print will fit many standard sized frames and mattes. There is an option to purchase it matted or unmatted, either way it can be framed up easily upon arrival. 1/4" margins were added to all sides for ease of mounting. (Pictured in a standard matte and 12"x16" frame. Frame not included.)

This ink portrait series was inspired by finding a turkey feather on a walk in my neighborhood. I decided to trim the end of the feather into a quill and play around with some ink. Many other non-traditional tools (such as straws, cotton swabs, sticks, etc) were used to capture the carefree style of these portraits. I used pictures on junkmail and magazine ads as reference photos - the whole time imagining who these people were, what were their hopes and dreams, and what makes them tick. These ink portraits are like people watching for your walls. Just remember, they are watching you right back, wondering what wild universe you are a part of.
